Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with menu selections, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Square POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct processing.
- Prepare and serve food items efficiently, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively to support food preparation activities.
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Maintain a clean workspace by bussing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and adhering to sanitation protocols throughout your shift.
- Process cash transactions accurately, handle cash register operations, and manage retail sales transactions with precision.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and sales management.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math, and order calculations.
- Knowledge of food handling, safety management, sanitation standards, and operating kitchen equipment.
- Experience in food preparation, serving, bussing, and general food industry practices is highly valued.
