Role Description:
UPI is seeking a Key Accounts Sales Representative to join our beef cattle team to develop, maintain, and expand relationships with livestock producers, feedlots, and other industry partners. This role is ideal for a livestock marketing professional with a strong background in beef cattle. The successful candidate will provide livestock marketing solutions to customers to include, but not limited to livestock transportation and logistics, data and inventory management, procurement options for feeder livestock, feeder cattle sales, direct sales and marketing, order buying services, credit services, and risk management services. In this role, you will work collaboratively with other internal UPI teams and external business partners to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in livestock marketing, specific to cattle.
- Strong knowledge of livestock production.
- Ability to build trusted customer relationships and drive business growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Ag Business, Animal Science, Agricultural Economics, or related field preferred.
