Responsibilities
- Safely operate taxis, medical transport vehicles, services along designated local routes and patient transfer points.
- Use GPS navigation systems to determine optimal routes and ensure timely arrivals.
- Assist passengers with boarding, disembarking, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the journey.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Process cash transactions accurately when handling fares or payments for services rendered.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during all driving activities.
- Conduct basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure continuous operation.
- Manage local driving routes efficiently while navigating through busy urban or rural areas using GPS tools.
- Ensure all safety measures are followed when transporting medical patients or individuals requiring special assistance.Skills
- Proven experience in taxi driving, delivery driving, bus driving, or paratransit services with a strong understanding of commercial driving standards.
- Proficiency in GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and real-time traffic updates.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to perform vehicle maintenance checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness consistently.
- Knowledge of traffic regulations, safety standards, and local driving routes.
- Experience handling cash transactions accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of night driving with alertness and focus during late hours.
