Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the food service team to ensure efficient meal preparation and service aligned with dietary guidelines and health regulations
- Develop and implement nutritious menus that meet residents’ dietary needs, preferences, and care plans
- Supervise food safety management practices to ensure compliance with health code policies and prevent contamination or foodborne illnesses
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans that incorporate clinical nutrition principles and physiological considerations
- Oversee food production processes, including inventory management, budgeting, and ensuring proper food safety standards are maintained
- Supervise food service health code compliance inspections and implement corrective actions as needed
- Manage budgets for the dietary department efficiently while maintaining high-quality service standards

Requirements
- Proven experience in assisted living or long-term care settings with a focus on dietary management or clinical nutrition
- Strong knowledge of health regulation policies related to food service health code compliance and safety standards
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing food service teams and supervising staff effectively
- Knowledge of physiology, nutrition science, and diagnostic evaluation techniques relevant to patient assessment
- Ability to oversee food production operations while adhering to budget constraints and safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with healthcare teams, residents, families, and regulatory bodies
- Food Handler Certified.

Pay: $25.28 - $30.00 per hour
