Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to join our dynamic facilities team. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance
- Handle industrial cleaning tasks including deep cleaning of machinery or specialized areas when needed
- Assist with residential painting projects or minor maintenance tasks to support overall facility upkeep
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, fixtures, and other surfaces to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained for safety and efficiency
- Support facilities maintenance activities by reporting repairs or hazards promptly
Experience
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial settings
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing floors
- Experience with industrial cleaning methods and specialized cleaning equipment is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
