About the Role:
LovingHearts HomeCare Services LLC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Provider to join our caring team in Springdale, OH. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and daily living support to individuals with disabilities or special needs
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, bathing, and other activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Support individuals in community integration, social activities, and skill-building
- Administer or assist with medications as directed and per care plan guidelines
- Document and maintain accurate client records, progress notes, and incident reports
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, family members, and care team members
- Transport and accompany clients to appointments, errands, and recreational activities
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Previous experience in direct support, caregiving, or a related healthcare field preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, empathetic, and compassionate demeanor
- Ability to follow individualized care plans and work independently
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
