The Shipping Clerk is responsible for all basic level shipping tasks in the shipping department. They are responsible for labeling and loading products for customer delivery.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Use a forklift to load trucks for various truck and freight companies and move skids from revolver and racks.
- Use a forklift to Stock departments with various packaging materials.
- Labeling using ups, fed ex, and various truck applications, advanced shipment notices, emails to logistics companies.
- Interaction with various truck drivers daily
- Provide support to the packaging area.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Embodies the 80/20 attitude in all aspects of their work.
- Prior experience with working in a fast-paced environment (retail, service industry, etc.).
- Can read, write and speak English.
- 1 or more years of forklift experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
- Able to stand, twist, bend, stoop, kneel and lift 40 lbs. on a continuous basis for a 10-hour workday.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 or more years of labeling experience using ups, fed ex, various truck applications.
