Position Overview
This is a full-time position involving both the manufacturing and installation of high-quality residential and commercial awnings. Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors, using ladders, and handling trade tools safely and efficiently. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Install residential and commercial awnings at job sites located within approximately one hour of our Melrose, MA location.
- Assist in the manufacturing and assembly of awnings at our on-site workshop.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Previous experience with tools, construction, installation, or related trades preferred.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently outdoors and on ladders.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong references required.
Schedule
- Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
- Some Saturdays may be required.
- Overtime opportunities available.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting pay: $21–$25 per hour, depending on experience.
