What You'll Do
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations for children birth to three years old.
- Develop individualized, family-centered treatment plans.
- Provide play-based therapy in children's natural environments, including homes and daycares.
- Coach caregivers using evidence-based strategies that promote participation in everyday routines.
- Address sensory processing, fine motor, gross motor, self-care, feeding, and developmental skills.
- Complete timely documentation that meets Early Intervention requirements.
- Collaborate with developmental therapists, speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, service coordinators, physicians, and families.
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Holds a Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
- Has (or is eligible for) Illinois Occupational Therapy licensure.
- Is credentialed or willing to become credentialed with the Illinois Early Intervention Program.
- Has reliable transportation to travel throughout the northwest suburbs.
- Enjoys collaborating with families and other professionals.
- Is organized, dependable, and passionate about helping children reach their full potential.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience in Early Intervention or pediatrics
- Knowledge of sensory integration, motor development, feeding, or self-regulation
- Experience with coaching and family-centered care
- DIR/Floortime or similar relationship-based approaches are a plus
