Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills in the electrical field while contributing to exciting projects. The Junior Electrical Estimator will assist in various tasks related to electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and contributing to the successful execution of projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist or coordinate the timely and complete development of electrical cost estimates.
- Perform and validate electrical take-offs from drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate the input parameters for cost estimates.
- Assist in compiling information from all estimating disciplines into one cost estimate.
- Establish site-specific estimating criteria including wage and person-hour productivity rates.
- Provide innovative solutions for construction, estimating issues and problems.
- Interface with designated management and client counterparts for specific estimating tasks.
- Review design documents such as specifications and drawings to identify risks and opportunities related to competitive pricing for key project elements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of electrical construction methods, materials and processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical thinker with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to prioritize given tasks and work efficiently towards completing them.
- Detail-oriented and exceptional organizational skills.
- An outstanding communicator, both orally and written.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Understanding of the National Electrical Code.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Suite and/or other administrative programs.
- Self-starter who works well independently.
- Experience with complex file management.
Nice-to-haves
- Electrical Apprentice Program accepted but not required.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
