General Tasks and Expectations
Employees are responsible for adhering to all applicable guidelines and work instructions. This includes compliance with quality, environmental, and energy efforts, as well as all relevant occupational health and safety standards. Any observed deficiencies in these areas must be promptly reported to the direct leader. Employees are also expected to support and contribute to the ongoing improvement and development of their respected areas.
General Review for People Leaders
Employees with personnel responsibility are authorized to issue instructions to their team members, provided such directives aligned with applicable laws, official and customer requirements, and the guidelines of PVS.
Additional Tasks
Employees may be assigned temporary and reasonable tasks that align with the nature of their position or are required to support operational needs.
General Objective
The general tasks of the employee include observance and compliance with the applicable regulations from the areas of quality management and quality assurance as well as the obligation to escalate perceived deficiencies in these areas and to prepare proposals for solutions. The Quality Manager is the process owner for the implementation and maintenance of the quality management system as well as support for its further development.

Core Duties
- Handle complaints and supervise corrective actions - creating and implementing corrective action plans. This includes information exchange with PVS Germany concerning all corrective action plans and their handling.
- Act in authority to block non-conforming parts, processes, and procedures; make further action and decisions
- Act as internal and external subject matter expert for all quality questions and tasks especially during audits and interfacing with customers
- Supervise and participate in the inspection and release incoming goods including first piece approvals
- Supervise testing equipment in cooperation with PVS Germany
- Supervise, organize and execute part measurement and SPC measurement
- Supervise and participate in sampling according to customer requirements and further creation of documentation
- Create, modify, and maintain inspection plans according to inspection plans available at PVS Germany.
- Participation in APQP-meetings
- Carry out internal audits including, but not limited to, product, process, quality, and supplier
- Communicate benchmarks including production quantities, scrap quantities, number of complaints, QSMPro/PSQC-data (archiving), CIP results, audit results, etc.
- Train new employees in the operation of the quality management system
- Actively participate in the training and growth of the quality management team
- Lead and participate in PPAP, First Article inspection or other customer specific quality requirements for production release.
- Implement procedures to meet customer quality requirements
- Practice organizational independence from other areas
- Conduct quality meetings consistently and have regular participation in internal group meetings and all other discussions if required and with special subjects
- Act in authority to issue instructions as well as relevant interfaces within the framework of valid laws, authority and customer requirements and our integrated management system
- Fulfill the duty to inform towards QL-D with special events in the quality management area
The Ideal Candidate:
- At least 5–8 years of experience with IATF and ISO 9001 required
- At least 5–8 years of leadership experience, preferably with small teams, required
- At least 5 years of experience in operational quality assurance or metrology required
- Negotiation skills and public speaking abilities required to interface with internal and external customers
- Exceptional communication skills especially in the English language
- Experience in quality techniques and statistical methods
- Willing to work overtime
Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
