Position: Grinder
Wage: $16.80 – 21.57 per hour; based on experience
Shift: 2nd Shift; Monday – Friday, 3:00pm – 11:30pm; overtime as scheduled
Grinder Responsibilities:
- Places springs into grinder and monitors to obtain a proper grind.
- Inspects springs from properly ground ends and checks for desired length.
- Cleans machines and performs minor maintenance.
- Assists less experienced operators in selection of tooling and operation of equipment.
Grinder Requirements:
- Physically able to do work requiring frequent standing, bending, lifting, pushing and pulling. Must be able to lift and carry, push and pull 50 lbs.
- Basic mathematical skills
- Ability to read calipers
- Sufficient manual dexterity to operate the equipment properly
