The State University of New York (SUNY) System Administration, located in Albany, NY is searching for a graduate student to support a variety of projects for the Office of the Provost. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the Office of the Provost by assisting with research, advocacy, and analysis of educational related policies.
Monitor local, state, or federal education bills and policy changes.
Conduct qualitative and quantitative policy research and literature reviews.
Translate complex academic research or legal texts into clear fact sheets, briefs, and memos.
Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a graduate or post-graduate program at a SUNY school.
Strong technical proficiency across the full Microsoft Office Suite.
Proficient in gathering, organizing, and evaluating data sets.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills with precise editing capabilities.
Additional Information:
Hours are flexible. Typically averaging 20 hours per week. Paid Positions: Undergraduate students $16.00/hour: Graduate students $18.00/hour. Doctoral students: $20.00/hour.
