Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations and shipping, ensuring efficient distribution, inventory control, and team management. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate shipping and receiving activities, implement process improvements, and maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
- Lead and motivate a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure high productivity.
- Manage inventory control processes using ERP M3 to accurately track stock levels and facilitate efficient distribution.
- Oversee materials handling operations with mechanical knowledge of forklifts and heavy lifting techniques to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Implement process improvements to streamline warehouse workflows, reduce errors, and enhance overall operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards by conducting regular safety audits, enforcing proper procedures, and promoting a safety-first culture.
- Coordinate logistics activities related to 3PL providers, shipping & receiving schedules, and e-commerce order fulfillment to meet delivery deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of inbound/outbound shipments, inventory adjustments, and audit reports for accountability.
Experience
- Proven experience in warehouse management or supervision within a fast-paced distribution environment.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems such as M3 or other ERP platforms.
- Hands-on experience with materials handling equipment including forklifts; certification preferred.
- Familiarity with logistics operations involving 3PL providers and e-commerce fulfillment processes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while managing multiple priorities in a warehouse setting.
- Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of heavy lifting techniques and materials handling safety procedures.
- Prior experience with shipping & receiving processes, OSHA regulations, and process improvement initiatives is highly desirable.
