Krise Services keeps homes across South Jersey running — heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical, water treatment — and none of that happens if our trucks don’t roll. We’re hiring a Fleet Mechanic at our Elmer shop to keep our service vehicles in fighting shape so our techs spend their day fixing customers’ problems, not waiting on a tow.
What you’ll do
Handle the full lifecycle of fleet maintenance on our service trucks and vans — preventive maintenance, brakes, suspension, electrical, HVAC, drivetrain, DOT inspections, the works. You’ll diagnose what’s wrong, fix it right the first time, and keep clean records on every unit. When something can’t be done in-house, you’ll coordinate outside vendors and make sure we’re not getting taken for a ride. You’ll also have a voice in spec’ing out new trucks as we grow and modernize the fleet over the coming years.
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years hands-on experience wrenching on light- and medium-duty trucks and vans (Ford Transit, Ram ProMaster, F-Series, and similar)
- Strong diagnostic chops — gas engines required, diesel a plus
- ASE certifications preferred (T-series or A-series); we’ll help you earn more
- Comfortable with modern diagnostic scanners and OEM software, not just a wrench and a hunch
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record; CDL is a bonus, not a must
- Must own your own tools — we provide the lift, heavy equipment, and a clean, well-stocked shop
- Show up on time, do honest work, and take pride in a job done right — the old-fashioned virtues still matter here
