Overview
Neave Ridge Rentals is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance worker to help maintain and repair our rental properties. This position is responsible for ensuring homes and apartments are safe, functional, and well-maintained for tenants. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and able to handle a variety of maintenance tasks in a timely and professional manner.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on rental properties.
- Respond to tenant maintenance requests and resolve issues promptly.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, flooring, and general property issues.
- Complete preventative maintenance inspections and property upkeep.
- Prepare units for new tenants, including repairs, painting, and cleaning coordination.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance records.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and according to company standards.
- Commuicate professionally with tenants, vendors, and management.
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance, construction, or handyman experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor as needed.
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
