About Us:
CB Flooring, LLC is one of the largest floorcovering subcontractor in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Founded in 1997, we are a private, locally owned and operated company headquartered in Columbia, MD. We also have locations in Harrisburg, PA, Raleigh, NC and Richmond, VA. We are currently in search of a Field Supervisor for our Harrisburg location that will be an integral part of ensuring assigned projects (typically large commercial projects) are running smoothly out in the field.
Job Duties:
- Complete in-depth and detailed pre-inspections on projects prior to installation.
- Attend pre-project meetings with the General Contractor.
- Review job folders with installation crews and oversee the quality of the work being performed in the field.
- Ensure proper use of safety equipment (i.e. hard shoes, hard hat, safety goggles, safety vest, etc.)
- Communicate regularly with internal personnel to make sure that the job is running according to schedule.
- Visit jobsite regularly to complete inspections on projects that are currently in progress.
- Delegate and ensure the correction of any issues as soon as possible.
- Use in-house tracking system to track the job’s financial progress.
- Report and accurately document any extra work or cost incurred on the job
- Maintain up to date knowledge on manufacturer’s installation instructions.
- Complete a detailed post-inspection after the completion of projects and before punch lists are created.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Works well in a team environment
- Highly organized
- Ability to influence and lead project teams
- Bandwidth to multitask and manage multiple projects of various sizes and scopes simultaneously
- Valid Driver’s license and accessibility to use of a vehicle
- Experience working with an iPad, Microsoft Outlook, and Excel
- Past experience as a construction foreman or site supervisor required
- Ability to read architectural drawings
- Excellent communication skills
- OSHA 30 or willingness to obtain (company paid)
- Flooring knowledge is a BONUS, but we are willing to train the right candidate
This position is also paid an auto allowance to compensate for mileage and wear/tear on the vehicle.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
