Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Officer to uphold safety and security standards across our facilities. Duties
- Monitor surveillance systems and conduct regular patrols to identify potential security threats or irregularities
- Control access to the premises by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
- Respond swiftly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed
- Document all security activities through detailed report writing and incident logs
- Enforce safety protocols and conflict management procedures to de-escalate tense situations effectively
- Conduct thorough inspections of facilities, including CCTV surveillance checks and perimeter patrols
- Provide first aid or CPR in emergency situations until professional medical assistance arrives
Requirements
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Knowledge of surveillance technology and report writing procedures
- Ability to perform physical duties such as patrolling large areas and standing for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and visitors
- Demonstrated understanding of security protocols, law enforcement procedures, and emergency response actions
