PROJECT MANAGER/ESTIMATOR
We are a well established Tile & Marble Company and are seeking a Tile & Stone Project Manager/Estimator to add to our team. We have a diverse portfolio of projects in the commercial, residential flooring and countertop industry and are looking to add an individual who shares our passion for the industry.
Job Responsibilities
- Work with suppliers, architects, designers, building owners, facility management and general contractors to choose products that fit their budget
- Oversee the projects are managed in the field in conjunction with all installation-focused associates and subcontractors
- Responsible for creating and submitting contracts, change orders, purchase orders, quotes with material and labor pricing on projects, etc. throughout the life of the project
- Call clients to schedule measure and installation appointments
- Attend pre-install and project progress meetings
- Reading and thoroughly understanding project drawings and specifications
- Order and track products, and schedule deliveries to jobsite
- Track progress and troubleshoot projects in the field
- Estimate projects with accuracy, speed, and efficiency via our company's estimating system
- Look for, respond to, and bid on new site projects accurately.
- Working with all departments to ensure a great client experience
REQUIRED Job Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience as a project manager or in a similar role is preferred
- Excellent Customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- On-screen take-off experience
- Be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word for bid calculations and proposals.
- Must have the ability to deal with deadlines and create several estimates simultaneously.
- Read and understand blueprints, sketches, and construction schedules.
- Valid Driver’s License and own transportation
- Measure Square and FloorZap experience is a PLUS
- Monday to Friday with Saturdays as needed
Ability to Commute:
Work Location: Both in Office and On Job Sites
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
