Job Summary
We’re on the lookout for a passionate and reliable Slabtown Burger cook to join our kitchen crew. In this role, you’ll be the heart of our burger station, crafting tasty, high-quality meals in a lively environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook burgers, fries, and other menu items according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are followed to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping ingredients and assembling dishes efficiently.
- Support the team during busy hours by maintaining speed and accuracy in food production.
- Keep your workstation organized, stocked with necessary ingredients, and ready for service.
- Follow proper food storage procedures to prevent waste and ensure freshness.
- Communicate clearly with team members to coordinate orders and deliver excellent service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen roles is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques.
- Basic knife skills and familiarity with cooking methods for burgers, fries, and similar items.
- Ability to work quickly while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward learning new techniques.
