Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Male Adult Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to adult males with diverse needs. Duties
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using manual handling techniques such as Hoyer lifts when necessary
- Monitor residents’ vital signs and observe for any changes in health or behavior, documenting findings accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Administer medications safely following established care plans and medication protocols
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist residents during mealtimes to promote proper nutrition and hydration
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing regular cleaning duties, laundry, and sanitation of resident areas
- Support residents during outings or community activities, ensuring their safety and engagement in social interactions
- Follow detailed care plans designed for each resident’s specific needs, including dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, or support for individuals with developmental disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders
Skills
- Proven experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments
- Strong patient observation skills to identify changes in condition or behavior promptly
- Knowledge of patient care procedures including medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and first aid/CPR certification
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of resident information
- Ability to assist with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and perform heavy lifting safely when required
- Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, dementia, or other neurodevelopmental conditions
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, residents, families, and healthcare professionals

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
