Position: Preschool Teacher
Location: 31814 Castaic Road
Schedule: Full-Time/Part-Time
We are looking for a dedicated, caring, and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an educator who is passionate about early childhood development and enjoys working collaboratively in a supportive classroom environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate and work closely with a co-teacher to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for preschool-aged children.
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities that support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and classroom learning opportunities.
- Gain valuable hands-on experience and mentorship in early childhood education.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 Child Development (CD) units required; Infant/Toddler units preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience working in a childcare or preschool setting.
- Current Fingerprint Clearance.
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Completion of Child Abuse Mandated Reporter Training.
- Up-to-date immunizations/vaccinations as required by licensing regulations.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and classroom management skills.
