The Office of Information Technology (OIT) is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join their team. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience within the OIT office by helping students, staff, and faculty with troubleshooting computer equipment including hardware and software issues. This internship will help development with the following skills: active listening & customer service, IT troubleshooting techniques, critical thinking & problem solving, interpersonal communication skills, teamwork and attention to detail.
Hourly Rate: $15.75

Assist students with troubleshooting computer equipment including hardware and software issues

Help to setup equipment and demonstrations for student labs as part of academic coursework

Work with other Ivy Tech staff to address hardware and software needs on campus issued laptops and equipment

Set up equipment for staff use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software

Troubleshoot incoming calls and help tickets, and work with IT Help Desk staff to devise a plan of action to help staff and students

Create and maintain documentation as requested of supervisor
