From our production facility in Tucker, Georgia, we manufacture products for some of the world's largest brands, corporations, sports organizations, government agencies, and institutions.
We are looking for an experienced and dependable Large Format Print Operator to join our production team.
Position Overview
The Large Format Print Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining large-format digital printing equipment, including roll-to-roll and flatbed printers, while ensuring jobs are produced accurately, efficiently, and to Atlas quality standards.
This position includes job setup, material handling, pre-production checks, color and print-quality inspection, and coordination with our production and finishing teams.
Our production environment includes a wide variety of projects, materials, sizes, and quantities. The ideal candidate is comfortable adapting to changing priorities while maintaining quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate large-format digital printing equipment.
- Review job specifications, artwork, materials, dimensions, quantities, and finishing requirements before production.
- Load and manage roll and rigid print materials.
- Monitor print quality, color consistency, registration, ink performance, and overall production quality.
- Identify and troubleshoot printing, material, and equipment issues.
- Perform routine operator-level maintenance and cleaning of printing equipment.
- Accurately measure materials and finished products.
- Maintain organized digital files and production information.
- Coordinate with design, production, finishing, and installation teams as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Meet production schedules while maintaining Atlas quality standards.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience with large-format digital printing, production, assembly, or finishing.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Good computer skills and the ability to navigate RIP software (Caldera), digital production tools, files, email, and other applications (Adobe Illustrator).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to accurately distinguish and evaluate colors.
- Confidence working with measurements and basic production mathematics.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also contributing as part of a production team.
- Ability to communicate and understand verbal and written instructions in English.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
