We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our vibrant restaurant team! Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly demeanor.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
- Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Process cash and credit transactions efficiently, handling cash handling duties with accuracy and integrity.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols.
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, accommodating special requests, and resolving any issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking seamlessly.
- Familiarity with wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, spirits experience, and beverage service standards.
- Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately.
- Understanding of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience with OpenTable reservations system or similar reservation platforms is advantageous.
