Here’s what you can expect as a Pediatrics Specialist at Highbar:
- Degree in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited program
- Current Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one
- Embraces a creative, collaborative mindset with a passion for continuous learning
- Experienced with or eager to grow into working with children (pediatric clinical rotation or relevant experience preferred)
- Must be comfortable moving with kids—including getting on and off the floor, hopping, skipping, running, and demonstrating exercises in an engaging, child-friendly way. Some heavy lifting may be required
Strong communication skills are essential: The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to:
Communicate clearly and compassionately with children, parents, and caregivers,
Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals
Interpret nonverbal cues, body language, and behavioral signals to guide treatment and build trust with pediatric patients.
