Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
- Conduct in-depth tax research to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Advise clients on tax planning strategies tailored to their financial goals.
- Assist with tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
- Analyze financial statements and related documents to identify potential tax issues or opportunities.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop effective, actionable tax strategies.
- Stay current with changes in tax laws and industry regulations.
- Mentor and train junior staff, providing guidance on tax preparation, planning, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (required).
- CPA license (required).
- Minimum of 5 years of tax experience, with at least 2 years in tax review.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead complex tax projects.
