Equipment Operator I is an entry-level Equipment Operator Position. Training on street maintenance equipment will be provided. Equipment Operator I will perform a variety of tasks including general labor and the operation of motorized equipment and hand tools used in the maintenance and/or construction of the City of Midland's street and drainage infrastructure and perform daily preventative maintenance on motorized equipment and/or hand tools.
Minimum Education & Work Experience

High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)

6 months experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
