CLASSROOM Lead Guide
Lupine Community Montessori Charter School is seeking a classroom guide at both the Elementary level. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in working with children and is looking for a community that supports them in their professional development and growing their skills.
Job Summary:
The classroom guide will co-create a Montessori community with regards to daily activities, providing the Montessori materials and lessons and provide support to students in the classroom. The classroom guide will monitor student progress, assisting with the day-to-day operations of the classroom. This position requires flexibility and a willingness to learn. The classroom guide will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the classroom and students. This includes but is not limited to: monitoring student performance, offering Montessori lessons and activities, providing materials for students, supervising students outside of class, and maintaining the classroom in a clean and orderly fashion. The classroom guide will be expected to perform these tasks with enthusiasm and creativity. Further, the guide will collaborate with the larger staff to help build out our school community to best support each other, our students, and our families.
Qualifications:
- Montessori training (or in process)
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have reliable transportation to/from school.
- Must have basic computer knowledge.
