After-Care Teacher to join their premier preschool in
Andover, MN. This is a wonderful opportunity for educators who love working with school-aged children!
- This is a Direct Hire position with the school
- Part-Time; Monday - Friday; year-round employment
Open Positions
- After-Care Teacher: working with children 6 to 12 years old and the shift would be 2:00pm to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday
Salary
- $19.00 - $21.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional experience

Job Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education
- Communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns
- Plan, create and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum
- Maintain educational portfolios for each child
Qualifications
- REQUIRED Education: High School Diploma
- REQUIRED Experience: 1 year of experience in a licensed Early Childhood Education facility
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must meet background check eligibility
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations
