Laundry Aide
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Laundry Aide to join our team at Prosper Health & Rehab in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. As a Laundry Aide, you will play a crucial role in receiving, washing, drying, and folding laundry items under the direction of our Director of Housekeeping. Responsibilities:
Receive, sort, and weigh laundry items
Load laundry items into washing machines and ensure proper settings are used
Transfer laundry to dryers and operate dryers
Fold and distribute clean laundry
Keep laundry equipment clean and in good working condition
Ensure that laundry is sorted by department and stored in designated areas
Follow safety protocols and standards while handling and transporting laundry
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to read and follow instructions
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods of time
Reliable and punctual with attendance
Knowledge of laundry equipment and operation is a plus
