Program Coordinator & Clinical Support Specialist

WaveMind is a specialty child and adolescent psychology practice providing evidence-based treatment for anxiety, OCD, selective mutism, behavior, and related concerns.
We are seeking a warm, dynamic, highly organized Program Coordinator & Clinical Support Specialist to join our team. This is a unique early-career role combining practice coordination, family communication, and opportunities for hands-on clinical experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct intake calls with prospective families, answer questions about services, and coordinate new patient onboarding.
- Manage scheduling for patients, clinicians, groups, and intensive programs.
- Help keep the clinic organized and running smoothly, including preparing materials, treatment spaces, and supporting day-to-day operations.
- Assist with billing, insurance communication, and other administrative needs.
- Support clinicians during sessions and programs; opportunities may include supervised exposure therapy and behavioral technician work.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; psychology, child development, education, behavioral science, or related field preferred.
- Strong interest in psychology, children, mental health, or education.
- Experience working with children and/or families preferred.
- Warm, compassionate, professional, and confident communicating with parents.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, reliable, and comfortable juggling multiple responsibilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
This position is especially well suited for a recent graduate considering a future career in psychology, mental health, education, medicine, or another child-focused field. The role offers meaningful exposure to both the clinical and operational sides of a specialty psychology practice.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
