Duties
- Process cash and card transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Assist guests with menu questions, food selections, and payment procedures to enhance their festival experience.
- Manage queues efficiently during peak times, ensuring swift service without compromising guest satisfaction.
- Uphold safety protocols by adhering to food handling, manual handling, and crowd management standards.
- Support event management by coordinating with vendors and staff to ensure smooth operations across food stalls and activity areas.
- Handle conflicts or guest concerns promptly with professionalism, de-escalating situations when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of cashier stations, including cash drawers and supplies, throughout the event.
Experience
- Previous experience working in retail sales or food service environments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills are essential for accurate transaction processing.
- Experience managing guest services in outdoor or event venue settings will be advantageous.
- Background in hospitality or resort environments can provide valuable insight into customer care standards.
