Rose-Mary is seeking a full-time LPN scheduled to work days with on-all rotation for after hours to oversee the medical needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities that reside in community group homes. Be part of a team that helps shape the lives of others!
The primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Observe and interact with the individuals.
- Provide training and guidance to the Direct Support Professionals in the homes. This includes delegated med administration.
- Assist with ensuring routine and emergency medical care is scheduled and provided.
- Assure compliance with all license requirements relating to nursing.
- Assist the House Managers and Case Managers (QIDP) in keeping parents and staff informed of medical concerns of the individuals.
- Participate in Individual Plan meetings, continuing education conferences, and other staff meetings .
- Schedule medical appointments and attends appointments when needed.
- Completes Quality Assurance assessments.
- Scheduled days of work to meet the needs of the individuals and rotate weekend on-call responsibilities with the other members of the nursing team.
We are seeking an individual who has a:
- Valid Ohio Driver's license with 4 points or less.
- Personal and reliable transportation as you will travel between sites. Mileage reimbursement is provided.
- Must be licensed the State of Ohio as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
