Position: Substance Abuse/Mental Health Clinician

Summary: Resa Treatment Center is a licensed outpatient substance abuse treatment provider, offering comprehensive co-occurring counseling services to adults struggling with addiction-related issues in the Bayshore area. Primary responsibilities include providing individual, group, and family counseling services to assigned clients.
Education: Bachelor's (Required), Master’s degree in related field (Preferred)
Required Licensure/Certifications: LCSW/LSW, LPC/LAC, LCADC/CADC
Experience: Two years of experience in substance abuse and/or related field.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate group, individual, and family counseling services
- Assist with on-site drug screening protocols, including sample collection
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessment of client’s treatment needs.
- Maintain client caseload including all case management, treatment planning duties, and clinical charting as required.
- Obtain previous records that are relevant to the current treatment plan.
- Development of the client discharge/continuum of care plan to ensure movement to the appropriate levels of care.
- Participate fully as a member of a multidisciplinary team for assigned clients and attend all clinical meetings.
- Communicate and interact with the director and other program staff in the decision-making process involving clients.
- Documenting all counseling and education services, assessments, reassessments, referrals, and follow-up in the client’s clinical record.
- Provide coordination of support services for the client/family and record the services provided in the client’s clinical record.
- Contact and coordination with referral sources, (i.e. legal, IDRC, DCPP, employer, etc.)
- Facilitate needed interventions for crisis-orientated issues utilizing a multi-disciplinary team approach for assigned clients.
- Required to stay up to date regarding all certifications/continuing education as per licensing requirements set forth by The State of New Jersey.

Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Five days per week (Monday through Friday)
- 1-2 evening shifts per week (1-9pm)
- 3-4 daytime shifts per week (9-5pm)
