General Information:
Job title: Retail Pharmacist
Schedules Available: Full-time, 80 hours per pay period; Monday - Friday, Alternating 10-hour shifts
Weekend rotation: Every 4th Saturday - 5-hour shift, Closed Sundays
Holiday rotation: Closed on Holidays
Position Summary:
The Pharmacist Staff - Retail Pharmacy ensures medications are procured, prepared, dispensed, and administered safely and legally.
Position Responsibilities:

Proficient in pharmacy practice including but not limited to the following areas:

Retail dispensing

Home health aids
-
Performs other related prescription activities such as taking verbal prescriptions, filling of prescriptions, dispensing and verbal consultation.

Performs and/or supervises pharmaceutical compounding activities.

Provides clinical pharmacy services, including medical history collection, therapeutic drug monitoring, pharmacokinetic dosing consultations, drug information and education.

Participates in and follows standards of departmental quality control and quality assurance programs.

Oversees inventory control activities such as monitoring inventory levels, ordering, receiving, stocking and shipping.

Supervises pharmacy interns and technicians.

Willingly follows and supports all policies and procedures required under Medicare Accreditation.

Administer vaccines.

Perform other related duties as needed.
Position Requirements:

Professional Pharmacy degree required. Doctorate preferred.

Must hold and maintain current Wisconsin Pharmacist license.

BLS certification required.

1+ years related work experience required.
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required.
