Primary Therapist
The Primary Therapist’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Assists Clinical Director to provide daily programming as required in
Day Treatment, Transition, IOP, and Family Programming
· Provide a high level of professional care to RR clients
· Communicate with Family Therapist any topics that need to be
supported/coached to achieve RR goals of client and family health
· Be proficient in presenting RR curriculum
· Willing to join on occasion in experiential/recreational activities
· Maintains caseload of clients providing:
2 weekly individual therapy sessions for Day Treatment (DT).
1 weekly Family call for each DT client.
· Enter client information and clinical notes into data management
software within 24 hours
· Facilitate groups as needed.
· Consult with Clinical Director regarding clinical issues in which additional
direction/information is needed
· Attend weekly meetings to review changes in client needs, clarification of
therapy goals, discuss concerns, improve clinical skills, etc.
· Share calendar access with and maintain current calendar for Office
Manager to allow scheduling of client 1:1 session, Family Counseling Calls,
UR and ASAM reports.
· Weekly participation in clinical staffing meeting.
· Completion of all documentation required for insurance billing and client
service accountability on or before specified deadline.
· Maintains current licensure and certifications as required by the state.
. EMDR Trained experience is preferred.
· Report work hours to Clinical Director in a timely manner.
· Represent RR’s 6 Performance Standards regarding Accountability, Quality
Care, Teamwork, Service Excellence, Integrity, and Continuous Improvement
