Black Knight Patrol Inc. is currently seeking experienced Unarmed Security Officers for a busy weekend assignment at a high-volume waterfront restaurant and entertainment venue in San Pedro, California.
This position requires officers who are confident working in crowded, fast-paced environments and who can maintain a professional presence while interacting with customers, employees, and management.
Position Requirements
Candidates must:
- Possess a current and valid California BSIS Guard Card
- Speak Fluent Spanish & English
- Have prior professional security experience
- Be available to work weekends, including Saturdays and Sundays
- Be comfortable working in a busy public-facing environment with large crowds
- Possess strong communication and de-escalation skills
- Be dependable, punctual, professional, and well-groomed
- Be able to remain standing and actively patrol for extended periods
- Be comfortable enforcing client rules and addressing disruptive behavior when necessary
- Own and maintain a professional duty belt
- Possess a valid BSIS Baton Permit
- Possess a valid BSIS Tear Gas/OC Permit and authorized equipment
- Have reliable transportation to and from San Pedro
Primary Responsibilities
Security Officers will be responsible for maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for guests and employees. Duties may include:
- Maintaining a highly visible security presence
- Monitoring entrances, exits, dining areas, and surrounding property
- Crowd management during high-volume periods
- Addressing disturbances and inappropriate behavior
- De-escalating confrontations whenever possible
- Enforcing client policies professionally and consistently
- Assisting management with removing individuals when appropriate
- Monitoring for suspicious activity and safety concerns
- Documenting incidents and completing required reports
- Coordinating with supervisors, management, and law enforcement when necessary
Schedule: Weekend availability is required.
Candidates should have consistent availability on Saturdays and Sundays. Additional shifts may become available based on operational needs.
