Position Summary
We are seeking a patient, thoughtful, and detail-oriented Estimator to join our Architectural Graphics Division. This position reviews architectural drawings and design packages, identifies project scope, and prepares accurate labor and material estimates for custom architectural graphics and displays.
The ideal candidate has strong spatial reasoning, analytical skills, and an eagerness to learn. Experience in architectural graphics, signage, printing, custom fabrication, or a related field is preferred but not required for a motivated candidate who can quickly learn our materials and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Read architectural plans, elevations, scales, specifications, and design callouts.
- Prepare accurate estimates for materials, fabrication, finishing, and installation.
- Create and maintain accurate estimates in our PACE estimating system and perform digital takeoffs using CAD and design software.
- Identify missing information, dimensional conflicts, scope gaps, and production challenges.
- Track drawing revisions and clearly document estimate assumptions and exclusions.
- Optimize material yields for standard rigid sheets and vinyl rolls.
- Communicate costs and project requirements clearly to clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Maintain organized estimate files and meet bid deadlines.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong spatial-visualization and blueprint-reading skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable learning digital takeoff, CAD, estimating, and design software; prior PACE experience is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with acrylic, PVC, wood, aluminum, vinyl, adhesives, laminates, and finishing processes is a plus.
- Estimating or production experience in architectural graphics, signage, large-format printing, fabrication, millwork, or a related industry is preferred.

Pay is commensurate with experience.
