Job Summary
Directly supervises all front office personnel and ensures proper completion of all front office duties. Directs and coordinates the activities of the front desk, reservations, guest services, scheduling, and telephone. Motivates and achieves exceptional guest focused results
Reports to
Assistant Manager or General Manager
Responsibilities and Duties
Participates in the selection of front office personnel
Trains, cross-trains, and retrains all front office personnel.
Assists with schedules of front office staff
Supervises workloads during shifts.
Evaluates the job performance of each front office employee
Maintains working relationships and communicates with all Departments
Verifies that accurate room status information is maintained. And properly communicates
Resolves guest related problems quickly, efficiently, and courteously
Updates group information. Maintains, monitors, and prepares group requirements. Relays information to appropriate personnel.
Reviews and completes credit limit report
Receives information from the previous manager and passes on pertinent details to the oncoming manager.
Enforces all cash handling, check cashing, and credit policies
Wears the proper uniform at all times. Requires all front office employees to wear proper uniforms at all times.
Perform any and all duties not specifically outlined above that are an inherent part of the position. Perform and execute any requests made by corporate or supervisor in a cooperative and expeditious manner
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.50 - $15.50 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
