We are seeking a dedicated and energetic OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and vital signs documentation.
- Perform routine gynecological exams, prenatal checkups, and postpartum visits with precision and empathy.
- Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with clinical guidelines and state regulations.
- Assist with procedures such as suturing, Pap smears, and other minor surgical interventions.
- Manage patient care using electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic and Athenahealth for accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and healthcare teams to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
- Educate patients on reproductive health, contraception options, pregnancy management, and wellness strategies.
Skills
- Proven experience working with women across various age groups, including pediatrics and geriatrics when applicable.
- Strong knowledge of obstetric and gynecological procedures, including ultrasound sonography and spinal tap techniques.
- Familiarity with clinical research protocols related to women’s health issues.
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for seamless patient documentation.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security at all times.
Pay: $75.00 - $80.00 per hour
