Do you love helping others feel valued, connected, and engaged? Are you creative, energetic, and passionate about making a difference in someone's day?
If so, we'd love to meet you!
As an Enrichment Specialist, you'll play a meaningful role in creating memorable experiences for older adults in our senior living community. Every day is an opportunity to inspire joy, encourage friendships, celebrate individual interests, and help residents live life to the fullest.
Whether you're leading a favorite game, organizing a special event, sharing a conversation over lunch, or discovering a new hobby with a resident, your work will have a lasting impact.
No two days are exactly alike! In this role, you will:
Plan, organize, and lead engaging, person-centered activities that reflect residents' interests and abilities.
Invite and encourage residents to participate in programs and events.
Assist residents to and from activities as needed.
Create opportunities for meaningful social connections throughout the day, including during mealtimes.
Document resident participation and collaborate with the care team to recognize engagement.
Work with your manager to coordinate supplies and resources for programming.
Help keep activity spaces organized, welcoming, and ready for fun.
Build positive relationships with residents, families, volunteers, and fellow team members.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe environment for everyone.
Protect resident privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times.
We're looking for someone who is:
❤️ Compassionate and enjoys serving others.
Creative and excited to develop engaging activities.
A relationship builder who helps others feel welcome.
A team player who values collaboration and respect.
Eager to learn and grow.
✔️ Dependable, organized, and ready to make a positive impact.
