Climate Champions is hiring an HVAC Helper to support our technicians on residential and commercial jobs around the Wheaton area. This is a hands-on way to break into the HVAC trade. You will learn directly from experienced techs while helping with installs, service calls, and maintenance. One to two years of experience is a plus but not required. If you are reliable, eager to learn, and ready to work, we want to hear from you.
What you will do:
- Assist lead technicians on installs, repairs, and maintenance
- Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials
- Help move and set up units, ductwork, and supplies on the job site
- Keep work areas clean and safe
- Learn HVAC systems, tools, and procedures on the job
- Communicate clearly with techs and customers
What we are looking for:
- Must live within 25 minutes of Wheaton, Illinois
- 1 to 2 years of HVAC experience preferred but not required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Dependable and punctual
- Team player with a good attitude

- On-call rotation may be required
