The Manufacturing Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing day-to-day production operations while leading continuous improvement initiatives within a medium to large team. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, this position ensures high standards of quality, safety, and productivity are consistently met in the manufacturing environment.
Monday-Friday 12 pm - 10 pm
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day production operations to meet quality and output targets
- Lead and supervise a team of 6 to 16+ manufacturing staff
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain compliance with safety regulations
- Implement continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency
- Manage inventory and schedules to optimize workflow
- Conduct training sessions to develop team skills and ensure adherence to procedures
- Prepare and submit operational reports to Plant Manager
- Coordinate equipment maintenance to minimize downtime
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in manufacturing supervision
- Associate degree in Manufacturing or related field
- Knowledge of production management and quality control
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and safety compliance practices
- Strong team leadership and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and time management abilities
Pay: $71,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
