We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee underground utility and heavy civil construction projects throughout Central Texas. This role is responsible for leading field operations, managing crews, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring safe, high-quality execution of water, wastewater, and utility infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day field operations on underground utility projects including water, wastewater, storm sewer, and drainage systems.

Supervise field personnel, subcontractors, and equipment to ensure productivity and project success.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and owners throughout all phases of construction.

Maintain project schedules and identify solutions to keep work on track.

Enforce company safety policies and promote a strong safety culture on all job sites.

Ensure work is completed according to project plans, specifications, and quality standards.

Conduct daily planning meetings, site inspections, and crew briefings.

Track production quantities, manpower utilization, and project progress.

Coordinate material deliveries, equipment needs, and workforce scheduling.

Proactively resolve field issues while maintaining positive relationships with project stakeholders.
Requirements

5+ years of Superintendent experience in underground utility or heavy civil construction.

Strong experience with water, wastewater, storm sewer, and utility installation projects.

Proven ability to lead crews and manage multiple phases of construction activities.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Knowledge of excavation, trench safety, utility installation, and heavy equipment operations.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Valid driver's license and ability to travel between project sites throughout the Austin and San Antonio markets.
