General Manager – SouthPark Mall

Position Summary
The General Manager is responsible for the overall management, operations, and financial performance of SouthPark Mall. This role provides leadership across property operations with an emphasis on tenant relations, leasing support, contractor and engineering oversight, financial management, and delivery of a high-quality customer and stakeholder experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Direct day-to-day operations including security, housekeeping, maintenance, and capital projects.
- Leasing Support: Partner with the leasing team to facilitate new deals, renewals, and tenant buildouts.
- Project & Contractor Management: Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Financial Management: Prepare and manage operating budgets, control expenses, and meet ownership’s financial objectives.
- Tenant & Community Relations: Develop strong tenant relationships and serve as a key representative to local officials and community stakeholders.
- Risk & Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and environmental requirements.
- Team Leadership: Lead on-site staff and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and service excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 5–7 years of experience in shopping center or commercial property management.
- Strong background in contractor and engineering coordination, capital project management, and facilities oversight.
- Proven track record in financial reporting, budgeting, and NOI growth.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management systems.
