FastTrack Staffing is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support our recruiting team in attracting, screening, and onboarding qualified candidates. This entry-level position serves as the first point of contact for applicants and plays a key role in delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will assist with candidate sourcing, applicant screening, onboarding activities, and administrative recruiting functions while learning the staffing industry and developing the skills necessary to advance into a full-cycle Recruiter role.
Candidate Experience & Front Office Support
- Greet applicants, employees, and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
- Assist walk-in candidates with applications, onboarding, and employment-related questions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment.
- Ensure all candidates receive a positive customer service experience.
Recruiting Support
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, databases, and other recruiting channels.
- Review applications and identify candidates who meet client requirements.
- Conduct initial phone screens to verify qualifications, availability, work history, and interest.
- Schedule interviews for Recruiters and Branch staff.
- Maintain candidate records and notes within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Follow up with candidates regarding interview schedules and employment opportunities.
Onboarding & Compliance
- Assist candidates with onboarding paperwork and employment documentation.
- Verify completion of required hiring documents and forms.
- Coordinate background checks, drug screens, employment verifications, and other pre-employment requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
- Maintain accurate employee and applicant records.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Update candidate databases and recruiting reports.
- Track recruiting activities and candidate flow metrics.
- Assist with job fairs, hiring events, and community recruiting initiatives.
- Support branch operations as needed.
- Complete special projects assigned by management.
