This program provides support and community integration for individuals who live with their families in their homes. Some of the program supervisors responsibilities include oversight of Direct Support Professionals and Support specialists, attends ISP meetings, coordinates scheduling of direct support hours with the participants and their families, monthly billing, and timesheet/expense reimbursement approval.
In addition, the program supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations for our Support Services Department with primary concern for health and safety of individuals or families being served, fiscal responsibility, ongoing staff supervision, training and development, compliance with state and federal regulations, licensing and contracts to ensure quality program and service delivery, safety and security, facility management, business and community relations and resource development.
Minimum Qualifications –
- High School Diploma/GED
- Associates Degree preferred, in Social Work, Human Services or related discipline
- Two years’ experience working with families and individuals with special needs and one year supervisory experience preferred
- Experience with DDS preferred
- Demonstrated relationship/interpersonal skills
- Ability to attend to multiple details within a multi-faceted environment and with diverse populations
- Demonstrated knowledge of computers and computer software applications
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Acceptable CORI, Fingerprinting background check, driver's record check, DPPC Abuser Registry check, and Child Protective Services background check
- valid driver’s license and access to an automobile
