Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Kitchen Lead to oversee daily food operations in a fast-paced, quick-service restaurant environment. Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff on food safety, handling procedures, and culinary techniques to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices.
- Operate POS system with accuracy
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Coordinate shift management activities to ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Support management in budgeting, staffing, and performance evaluations to optimize team productivity and operational efficiency.
Skills
- Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within quick service or fast-food restaurant settings.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, food safety standards, and food handling procedures.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in staff training, supervising teams, and managing shifts effectively.
- Background in hospitality management or restaurant management with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to train staff on culinary techniques, food safety protocols, and operational procedures.
- Experience with budgeting, food production planning, catering services, and banquet operations is highly desirable.
