We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure our units consistently meet high standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting equipment, resolving customer concerns, and supporting operational excellence across multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, transportation laws, and company policies while maintaining a safe driving record
- Conduct thorough inspections of equipment and facilities to verify cleanliness, functionality, and readiness
- Respond promptly to customer concerns, including delivering replacement units or performing on-site cleaning as needed
- Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and recommending appropriate solutions
- Maintain customer satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution
- Track and document QA activities, including service calls, orders, sales, and customer/vendor concerns
- Deliver products to new and existing customers in a timely and professional manner
- Provide clear feedback to leadership regarding technician performance and adherence to protocols
- Troubleshoot and resolve sanitation-related issues efficiently to minimize operational disruptions
- Develop and maintain sanitation procedures and schedules to meet company and regulatory standards
- Collaborate cross-functionally, including participating in production meetings and providing training on quality standards
- Update and maintain unit lists, locations, maps, and assigned routes; provide feedback to routing teams
Required Skills & Abilities
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance with all transportation and company policies
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and reporting skills
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to navigate construction sites and uneven terrain, including stairs
- Must be able to lift 25-75 pounds regularly
- Capable of stretching, pulling, climbing, and crawling to access units
- Ability to communicate effectively via phone, computer, and email
